Discourse is a reboot of forum software, fully open-source, and available for any/all to download and use. It was built by a team of talented programmers led by Jeff Atwood, known for his creation of the StackOverflow and StackExchange sites.
Jeff happens to be a personal friend of mine, and was gracious enough to ask for my input in the design phase of Discourse. I continue to contribute to the project as my schedule allows.
